Mathews Malata

Mathews Malata is a Malawian ardent environmentalist, a LEAD Fellow and a versatile award-winning journalist. He is regarded as an authoritative voice in the environmental reporting beat having extensively reported on environmental affairs for various broadcast and print media in Malawi and abroad. He has also taken a lead in training journalists on environmental reporting, disaster risk reduction, energy and agriculture.  He is passionate about Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He is the editor for iHub Online and also contributes to the local dailies; The Nation and Daily Times.
