Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery

This website offers a quick view of what the global development community is doing in the disaster risk reduction space. It is especially helpful to journalists who seek to understand international cooperation in disaster risk reduction; finances and technical support.
The Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR) is a global grant-partnership based in Belgium that helps developing countries better understand and reduce their vulnerability to natural hazards and climate change.

The GFDRR has partnered with the World Bank to produce an eleven-part series of online learning modules on DRR.
These self-paced courses are designed to enhance your knowledge as a resilience and disaster risk management professional, and cover topics such as Disaster Risk Finance Analytics and Post-Disaster Needs Assessment.
